ColourSpaces

Colour is space.

In these monochrome works, space is clearly present, both in a material sense and in the experience. Physically, due to the open and coarse character of the painted grid and because both this grid and the sheet of paper behind it curl freely in the space. In the more than man-sized works, the colour can be experienced as a body that moves forwards and backwards in relation to the painted grid.
