Monochromes

My fascination with the monochrome lies in its fundamental character: one colour of paint on linen; that's all.

As a painting, the monochrome has already been worked out by many. In my search it only became interesting after arranging the linen cloths in series and stacks; in the end, usually only the back of the canvas is visible apart from the end face.
