Walnut ink

For over six months, I focused exclusively on working/playing with walnut ink in a watercolor-like manner. As a support, I used paper—from sheets of drawing paper to torn scraps of watercolor paper—and textiles—from canvas (linen) to torn pieces of old bed sheets and tea towels. The form varies from concrete forms such as deliberately applied grids, planes, and dots to formless and accidental spots; from art with form to art with maximum formless potential. Much of what I've previously explored in my work appears in these warm, umber-like tones.
